Sunday dinner at Ruby River

My fabulous mom took us to dinner tonight. We headed over to Ruby River. We haven't been there for a long time so it was fun EXCEPT for a crying baby! Aren't newly parents taught that when there baby continues to cry in a restaurant it is NOT OK to continue acting like no one can hear the kid! Holy smokes parents. You need to take care of your crying kids. Walk him, talk to him, duck tape him(JK) or LEAVE. We are ALL paying customers and IF I wanted to hear a baby crying, I would have another one!
After they left, we enjoyed the peace and quiet!! Thanks Momma!

~~~Timpview 40 Westlake 9~~~
The Timpview home game last night was AWESOME. There was a tailgate party with a BBQ, dunk tank, face painting and a band. It was so much fun to see the Timpview spirit!! This is Jonathan's last year in High School so I feel the need to savor every moment. Here is a few pictures of Jon and the kids that we took after the BIG WIN!
Sugarland Concert @ Usana 8/20/2011
What an AWESOME time we had at the Sugarland concert with Melina and Cecil!!! The weather was perfect, the croud was interesting and the music was to die for!!!
Timpview VS Alta Loss
"Fortunately, the Hawks rallied from a miserable beginning to beat Timpview 35-14 in front of a near-capacity crowd on their home field in the season opener for both teams."
We lost the game but we had a lot of fun and learned a lot of lessons. We play Westlake @ home on Friday!!
Brandon's visit to Utah
My nephew, Brandon, was able to come and visit us again this summer. He lives in California and goes to college. I LOVE LOVE LOVE having him here in Utah. The girls adore him and he hung out with Jonathan and his friends too.
Here is a picture of them just kicking it......
My Jenna is starting Jr. High school(7th grade)! Can you believe it? I can't! My baby is growing up. I am so excited for her to start this new adventure. Here is a picture from back to school night. Jenna will start school on Monday Aug 22nd.
Timpview VS Alta 8/19/2011
Timpview Thunderbirds (0-0) at Alta Hawks (0-0)
Series note: Timpview won last year's game 41-27.
About the T-Birds: The best team in 4A the past five years, they face a very tough opener. With five returning defensive starters, including Josh Burr and Carson Rawle, the T-Bird defense could be pretty good. Offensively, Timpview will lean heavily on returning RB Jonathan Ghosoph.
About the Hawks: Coming off a rare losing season, Alta is poised for a big bounce back under new coach Robert Stephens. Tight end Steven Richards will be a key component to the offense, while the defense will be led by players such as Weston Rallis, Austin Lee and Rhett Sandlin.
A visit from the Prestons
I just love it when my Uncle Johnny and my Aunt Virginia come into town. It takes me back to when I was a kid. Here are some pictures of all of us after we went to Tacanos for dinner.
Jonathan in the Deseret News
This is pretty cool when you son makes the Deseret News to represent Timpview!
"The pressure of the past motivates us," said Jonathan Ghosoph, a senior running back.
"Wide receiver Rickey Shumway is one of the few returning starters. Running back Jonathan Ghosoph also returns, and they will team up with senior quarterback Marshall Nelson, who was a backup to Christian Covey, to keep defenses guessing."
GO TIMPVIEW!!!
